Artvicta
Victoria Petrova is an artist exploring the intersection of art and machines, revealing the beauty in their hidden logic. She contacted me to design her portfolio website and make her work stand out. I aimed to create a project representing her artistic talent and creative vision.
The portfolio showcases a collection of Victoria's paintings and 3D animations featuring her best work. It includes a custom 3D mockup that serves as a presentation for the project. The mockup is animated in Cinema 4D and rendered using Redshift, aiming to best present Victoria's surreal style.
The animations evoke mystery and a timeless world where the beauty of art takes center stage.
The project included several stages, from understanding Victoria's vision and creating the design concept to web development, 3D animations, user testing, and bringing it all to life. One of the main challenges was ensuring the project functioned seamlessly across various devices. A design system was developed to blend design and web development successfully.
The 3D animations are designed to function flexibly in various aspect ratios, serving as the portfolio website's intro page.
